Where it grows
The Southern Rhône, especially Châteauneuf-du-Pape, plus Spain as Garnacha (Priorat, Rioja) and Australia.

Grilled meats, stews, and Mediterranean dishes.

Yes. Garnacha is simply the Spanish name for Grenache.
